# Integrated promotion in Instagram

Let us discuss a combined approach to Instagram profile promotion, a question we are asked very often… It is time to clear things up.

At least half of clients believe isolated measures, such as boosting a post’s likes or views, can produce substantial results or a sudden rise in customer numbers. This is a myth — or wishful thinking.

Now back to reality… No method can instantly raise your profile’s ranking and bring in a huge target audience! In the real world, the only working approach is steady promotion that improves the profile’s ranking along with the quality and quantity of its content. The relevance of posts and the way you talk to customers also matter, but we have already covered those points in previous articles.

## **What we recommend and in what order**:

- start with content quality: give posts an attractive presentation through well-edited photographs and video. Also pay attention to the profile’s written content (read more about this in [THIS ARTICLE](http://wiki.bos.bz/insta_recomends.php));

- Do not forget about regularity when maintaining a profile: do not forget to publish content and do not make large pauses;

However, if you use mass following, do not exceed 3000 accounts followed — this negatively affects the profile’s ranking;

- Specify the geolocation on each publication. It is necessary to make geolocations unique (they should be different in the last 12 publications) - this will increase audience coverage;

- always include hashtags in new-post captions. Posts with sparse descriptions are less popular with real audiences;
